1. Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email, and authentication credentials when you create an account.
• Amazon data you connect — when you link an Amazon Advertising or Selling Partner (SP-API) account, we access advertising reports, campaign and keyword metrics, order and inventory summaries, and related performance data through Amazon’s official APIs, with your explicit authorization.
• Usage data — basic logs and diagnostics needed to operate and secure the service.

2. How we use your information

We use your data solely to operate the service: to display your performance, generate advertising recommendations, and produce the analytics you ask for. Aggregated, anonymized patterns may be used to improve our models and benchmarks. We do not sell your personal information or your seller data, and we do not share it with data brokers.

3. Amazon data handling

Amazon data is accessed through Amazon’s official APIs and used only to provide the service to you. We do not collect, request, or store buyer personally identifiable information (PII) — such as customer names, addresses, or contact details. We never change your Amazon account without your authorization: by default every change requires your approval, and automated changes occur only if you turn automation on, within software-enforced limits, with every change logged and reversible where the change type supports undo. You control the connection and can disconnect an Amazon account at any time, which revokes our access and removes the stored credentials. Any cross-seller insights are derived from aggregated, anonymized patterns only and never expose another seller’s identifiable data.

4. How we share information

We share data only with the infrastructure sub-processors listed at foragehive.com/subprocessors, each bound by a Data Processing Agreement and used only to operate ForageHive on our instructions. We do not sell your data or share it with data brokers, and no third party receives Amazon Information for its own use. We may disclose information if required by law.

5. Data security

Connected-account credentials are encrypted at rest, and all data in transit is protected with TLS. We restrict access to your data to what is necessary to operate the service.

6. Data retention

We retain your data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you disconnect an Amazon account or close your ForageHive account, we delete the associated credentials and may delete or anonymize related data, subject to legal retention requirements.

8. Cookies and sessions

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure your session. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children’s privacy

ForageHive is a business tool intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, communicated to you directly.
